Organize a PDF in three simple steps

Combine the right files, select the pages you need, and check your finished document.

A clear PDF is easier to review and share. Before editing, gather the source documents and decide the order in which a reader should see them.

Combine related documents

Use Merge PDF to place related reports, invoices, or notes in one file. The selected-file list shows the order. If the order is wrong, choose the files again before generating the document.

Keep only relevant pages

Use Extract PDF pages for a targeted handout. The selection 1-3, 7 keeps pages one through three followed by page seven. Reordered and repeated page selections are supported.

Correct sideways scans

Open Rotate PDF and apply a quarter-turn to the affected pages. Rotation is added to the current orientation, so inspect the downloaded result before sending it.

Review the final copy

Check page order, readability, orientation, and file size. These tools work with unencrypted PDFs and copy page content; document-level bookmarks, interactive forms, attachments, and signatures may not be preserved. Keep originals if those features matter.

All editing happens in your browser. For a large document, close unused tabs and work on a computer with enough memory.

HELPFUL ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

A little clarity before you get started.

What order should I organize PDFs in?

Decide the reading sequence first, merge the source documents, then extract or rotate pages if needed. Check the final page count and open the downloaded result.

Should I keep the source documents?

Yes. Keep originals, especially when signatures, bookmarks, or interactive fields matter. Page-based processing may not retain document-level features.

Can I process a password-protected PDF?

These tools do not unlock encrypted documents. Obtain an authorized, unencrypted copy before processing.
