Extract the chapter, appendix, or worksheet someone actually needs rather than sending a complete report. Count pages using the document's physical page positions, then enter the required selection and inspect the download.

Bring selected pages into a review copy, even when they are far apart in the source. You can put a summary first and supporting pages after it by entering the numbers in that order. The original document is not changed.
Selections follow the order you enter. Repeated pages are allowed, so 3, 1, 3 produces a three-page PDF. Password-protected documents are not supported.
Page selection: 5, 1-3, 5 in a PDF with at least five pages.
A five-page PDF containing source pages 5, 1, 2, 3, and 5.
Commas separate selections. A hyphen includes every page in an ascending range, and repeated pages are allowed.
Use numbers between 1 and the source document's page count. Printed page labels may differ from actual PDF page positions, especially when a document begins with a cover or contents pages.
Enter ascending ranges such as 2-6, not 6-2. Separate additional selections with commas, avoid a trailing comma, and enter at least one page to extract.
A little clarity before you get started.
