A little clarity before you get started.
Can I recover a generated password later?
No. Save it in your own password manager before leaving the page.
Are generated passwords sent to the server?
The generator creates the result in your browser and does not send it to the PHP account service. Copying, saving, or using it elsewhere is a separate action under your control.
How is randomness generated?
The tool uses the browser's crypto.getRandomValues API and rejection sampling when choosing characters. It does not use Math.random for password generation.
Does each selected character set appear in the result?
Yes. At least one character from every selected set is included, remaining positions are selected from the combined sets, and the characters are then shuffled.
Can this replace a password manager?
No. It generates a value but does not manage account credentials, synchronize passwords, or recover lost results. Store each password in a password manager you trust.
Do I need an account to use this tool?
No. This tool is free to use without signing in. An account lets you keep a list of favorite tools.
Can I use this on a phone?
Yes, with a current browser. File support, download behavior, and available memory vary by device. For large documents and images, a computer is often more comfortable.
