Create a QR code people can actually scan
Keep your link concise, preserve a clear margin, and test the printed result.
A QR code connects a physical item to digital information. A good code is easy to scan and leads to the place people expect.
Use a complete destination
In the QR code generator, enter a full URL beginning with https://. A bare domain can be interpreted as text by some scanners. Remove unnecessary tracking parameters when you control the destination and do not need them.
Keep the code readable
Longer input creates more modules, making a small printed code harder to scan. Preserve the white border around the exported image and use a high-contrast background. Avoid stretching the code or cropping its edges.
Choose error correction thoughtfully
Higher error correction can help a code remain readable when part of it is obscured, but also increases its density. The default medium setting is a practical starting point for an unobstructed code.
Test the actual output
Scan the downloaded image and a printed sample using more than one phone. Test from the distance people will use it. Confirm the destination loads without requiring an unexpected sign-in.
Understand the lifetime
The exported QR code contains your content directly. It has no built-in expiration. If it points to a website, you still need to keep that address available and maintain the content behind it.
